Moving to Barcelona

I work as a remote API integration specialist, helping companies connect different software systems and automate workflows. Since all of my work is done online—coding, troubleshooting, and client meetings—I realized a long time ago that I didn’t need to stay tied to one location. After spending years in a city that felt more exhausting than motivating, I decided to look for somewhere better suited to long-term living.

Barcelona came up repeatedly in conversations with other remote professionals, so I decided to test it myself. I rented an apartment for a few months while continuing my regular work schedule. Very quickly, I noticed that my daily routine felt much healthier there. Work stayed productive, but life outside of work improved dramatically.

When I started thinking seriously about staying, I looked into buying property and found https://barcelona.realestate/. What I liked was how focused the platform was on the local market, with useful descriptions of neighborhoods and realistic pricing. It made narrowing down options much easier. I eventually bought an apartment with enough room for a proper home office and comfortable living space.
